Upgraded MEP equipment at Interfaith to enhance patient care

This project involves to the renovation of the electrical systems at Interfaith Medical Center, which is situated at 1545 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. The scope of work included the complete separation of critical life safety and mechanical power, which necessitated the construction of a new system of electrical closets in the Main Building. The new risers were installed from the basement to the 7th floor, and then distributed throughout the rest of the building.

SourceBlue introduced competition at the manufacturer level to drive better cost and lead times, which ultimately provided 10% cost savings to the project that was initially over budget. Due to the success of this initial engagement, SourceBlue is now working with One Brooklyn Health to directly procure electrical equipment campus-wide.
